June 2025 Celebration of Life Services for Clyde Aikau, a surf family legend. Honored to have him as one of our Canoe Captains here at Pacific Island Beach Boys, we will always remember his perseverance for the Waikiki Beach Stands to be Non-profit Waikiki Beachboys as the original HRS statute.
Celebration of Life Services July 2024 for Larry Aki Akiyama, a Legendary Beach Boy and Canoe Captain, Uncle Aki helped us, till the end... he looked over our shoulders as we rigged the boat, took time to watch us and teach the skills of a long time waikiki beach boy. A monk seal has been named after him, Aki swims in the waikiki waters.

Long time beach boy, his humor and personality always made it fun in the water with Uncle Tony. He left us all too soon, a great friend, laughter and entertainment on the beach always BURP BURP!!

Celebration of Life Services 2021
Celebration of Life Service 2023 for beloved Uncle China, the man who brought the community together to surf, the contests that everyone waited for, summer fun in Waikiki. These were the events of the summer, the surf community will miss him dearly.
Semi-annual Hawaiian Culture days with Pacific Island Beach Boys.... Families are invited to spend time on the beach with Canoe captains, as they talk story about the waves they have rode and stories of the Legendary Beach Boys that shave shares their lives with all that have come to Waikiki to learn this history and cultural practices of the Hawaiian islands.
